Best Electric Frypan I Have Owned
December 20, 2014
I have had this electric fry pan for over a year and use it at least once a week. I have had no issues with uneven heat.
What I especially like is the size. It is large enough that I can cook one item on one side and another on the other side. I often use it for stir frying and will stir fry noodles on one side and meat and veggies on the other, then combine them.
The nonstick interior requires no oil, but sometimes I use a little for flavor. It has not degraded with use and works just as well as when it was new.
The fry pan is very light weight, so that even when it is filled with food, it is still manageable to lift. One side has a "spout" so that if I need to pour something out, it is easier.
The non-stick interior is easy to clean and the pan is completely submersible.
I highly recommend this fry pan and know that I have Breville customer service behind it if I have any problems.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Quality, Time-saver, Size, Versatile, Design

Roller Coaster Heating
October 24, 2014
Performance leaves a lot to be desired. The entire surface heats well. However the heating element cycles on and off and does not maintain the desired heat level. The heating element is either ON or OFF; not consistent. Frying bacon is great when the heating element is heating. Then then it cycles off until it reheats. Literally the bacon stops frying during the off cycle and is just sitting there until the unit cycles on again. When it does cycle on again the heating element is at full bore until the unit is reheated to temperature.
Don't even try to do something like chicken and dumplings. Want to cook at a low consistent temperature? It will not maintain a slow simmer. When the heating until cycles back on everything comes up to a full boil. Imagine what this does to dumplings? During the off cycle everything just stops. Heat is literally like riding a roller coaster.
Needless to say, I'm disappointing in this unit and now it just sits in a cupboard taking up space.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Easy to Clean, Design
Cons: Speed, Power, Temperamental, inconsistent heating
