Williams-Sonoma Breakfast Comforts Cookbook

Wake up to the delights of a home-cooked breakfast, from piping-hot biscuits to perfectly cooked eggs. Celebrating America's favorite sunrise specialties, this cookbook includes more than 100 recipes from every region, gathered and perfected by comfort-food aficionado Chef Rick Rodgers. Rodgers offers guidance on making sweet and savory dishes like classic griddle cakes, French toast and baked eggs, plus new flavors like zippy breakfast tacos and tomato-and-prosciutto flatbread. Blackberry coffee cake, homemade donuts and other treats fill the extensive pastry section, and local restaurateurs contribute favorites, like a family recipe for cinnamon-pecan rolls-a perfect accompaniment to the morning's first cup of coffee. Hardcover, 223 pages. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

We love this cookbook
August 26, 2013
My husband and I love this cookbook. We use it every weekend and have made more than half of the recipes (we have committed ourselves to making everything at least once). So far, there has only been one that we didn't care for. There are many we make over and over again, including the chocolate chip banana bread, cinnamon rolls, blueberry muffins, frittata, poached eggs, lemon ricotta pancakes, and the almond french toast. Our absolute favorite recipe is the buttermilk pancakes. We make them almost every weekend because they are just that good. This is the best cookbook in our stash of 50+. The pictures are great and the recipes are easy to follow.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quality, Design

To die for breakfast (and pictures!)
July 31, 2011
The pictures in this book make my stomach rumble. The recipes are so satisfying. My husband and I love breakfast any time of the day. The blueberry muffins are amazing. I cannot stop making them. The Philly cheese-steak omelet could make you drool while it's sizzling in your skillet. You will not regret buying this. Ever. My favorite cookbook.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Accuracy, Quality, Easy to Store, Size, Design, delicious
