Brasserie Blue-Banded Porcelain Soup Bowls

Classic dinnerware like this is popular in Parisian bistros and brasseries. Made of fully-glazed porcelain, the pieces are larger and heavier than standard tableware and are sturdy enough to go under the broiler. The pattern has a blue fillet border. Microwavable and dishwasher safe. 9" soup/pasta bowls, set of four. Made in Japan. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

Sturdy, not showy, but simply elegant

Love this new line of plates, they're as sturdy as any I've seen, and although they are simple in design, they're exceptionally well made.
Use them like baking dishes, you can simply put them with the food right into a toaster oven and heat up the plate and the food together. This soup bowl is not deep, but it's great for allowing the edges of the soup to cool so that you don't have to wait forever to start eating it.
Pros: Durable, Quality, Easy to Clean, Easy to Store, Appearance, Design

These serve a perfect role in multiple categories: salad plate, soup bowl, pasta dish, general serving bowl. Save money and shelf space with this design. And they're attractive! A great price for something that looks so classy and will go with any table linen. I also love the coffee cups with saucers.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Store, Size, Appearance, Versatile
