Turned out well

I made the carrott muffins and they turned out pretty well. Tasted great; not salty like the previous reviewer. Shared them with my family and they loved the muffins.

The taste was atrocious
January 8, 2013
I tried the Carrot muffins.
I often frequent Bouchon in NYC, so when I saw these treats I was elated.
The mix was easy to make, the muffins looked lovely after I baked them.
But... the taste was atrocious. The most disgusting taste ever. And the crumb topping was extremely salty. Yes, salty. The carrots (though plentiful) were hard and chewy.
It was a horrid experience and especially after the high price. I've had better luck with cheap old Duncan Hines!
Pros: Easy to Prepare
Cons: Disappointing, Texture, smell, Flavor, expensive
