Boos End-Grain Butcher Block Culinary Cart, 50"

Modeled after fixtures found in commercial kitchens, this cart offers multiple stacked levels of work space and storage - without taking up much floor space. It's designed exclusively for Williams-Sonoma in collaboration with John Boos, a company known since 1887 for its finely crafted wood furnishings for kitchens. The butcher-block top is crafted from laminated blocks of northern hard rock maple. Two lower shelves are sturdily constructed of maple slats to hold small appliances and equipment. A pair of stacked drawers stores tools, and two towel bars keep dishcloths or hanging utensils in quick reach. The sturdy stainless-steel frame rests on locking caster wheels, so you can easily move the cart as needed. To maintain the wood's quality, periodic application of lemon oil is recommended. Food grade varnish sealant. Assembly required. 48" x 24" x 36" high. Made in the USA. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

This beautiful cart is the center of our kitchen!
January 11, 2013
We were thrilled when our 50" cart was delivered. It was larger and more beautiful than we'd imagined. We have a galley kitchen, and there just wasn't enough counter space before -- but we've now added about 20 square feet with this cart. Everyone wants to stand next to it, touch it, and put things on it. It is so pretty! It's also not-too-wide, which means we can walk easily around it. We love the hidden plugs and electric cord under the top shelf -- what a great idea!

Great Addition
May 27, 2012
This is a wonderful product and has been essential in meal preparation.we wonder how we survived without it for so many years. Our only issue with this item are the wheels. There are two wheels that are completely shredded (the rubber has come off). This is confusing because the only time the table is moved is when the kitchen floor tile receives a deep cleaning, which happens about four times a year. I'm still waiting for a call from a williams sonoma rep wit regard to wheel replacement. I will update when/if it is resolved.

"Betsy" and me,we will see
January 29, 2011
I have been asked to write a review...it was only delivered 25 hours ago and I have spent 9 of those sleeping and another 6 at work. So far, I find it quite beautiful and as described. "Betsy" and I will become good friends I am sure (yes, I named it....$2500.00 after tax and shipping deserves a name.Costs more than some of my kids did). It is well made and probably worth every penny. I will reserve judgement for after we get to know each other better!

Excellent
January 3, 2010
We purchased the Boos End-Grain Butcher Block Culinary Cart, 50" about 4-5 years ago and it is wonderful, totally durable, beautiful to look at, and a completely functional workspace that is used daily in our kitchen. Still looks new after 4-5 years!

My new cart
December 1, 2009
I have only had this cart for a week and I can not image NOT having it. It was a blessing in preparing our Thanksgiving dinner. It is very well made and sturdy too! The "white glove" service was excellent.

A very practical and beautifully crafted table that is now the pride and center piece of the kitchen.
Great to work and serve on and with the rollers very easy to position for different uses and occations.
