Williams-Sonoma Assorted Kitchen Towels, Set of 4
We set out to make our kitchen towels even more absorbent. The result is a towel of Turkish cotton, woven in four complementary patterns: stripes, a border stripe, a windowpane plaid and our signature logo design. All feature a high-density twill weave composed of twisted yarns for superior absorbency and a smooth touch. Laundering only improves them. Machine-wash. 20" x 30". Set of four, one of each design. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

Towels were not cut evenly. I've never seen ends of towels so uneven. And they need to be ironed! I would never order these again.

I love these towels

Sometimes you find a product that you just love using in your kitchen. I have to say that I bought my first pack of towels at least 15 years ago and cannot use any other in my kitchen. I love how they look, the way they dry glassware, how they wash and fold and how pretty they look in my kitchen. My favorite is the red towels and I just purchased 3 new packs of them.

I love Williams Sonoma kitchen towels!

These kitchen towels are very nice. They are thick & sturdy so I know they will last me a long time.
They do come out of the dryer a bit wrinkled, but that is no biggie, I would still buy them again.

New Kitchen Towels

Just purchased new kitchen towels, got home and washed them.... Now I am disappointed. Towels are no longer square they lost there shape....at $5 a piece I expected more. I'm taking them back!!!

Love these towels. They get softer and softer with each wash. My husband was so skeptical when we bought our first set. Now they're the only towels we use!!

I Wouldn't Use Anything Else!

I've been using these towels for 25 years (still using the first set at my office) and just ordered my third set for my new kitchen. They dry glasses with no lint, get softer with each washing, and continue to look great. My second set is seven years old and still looks like new!
Great shower present!

Towels are not a normal WS product. The towel did not keep their shape after the first washing and did not dry dishes at all.

Kitchen Towel Not Worthy of Name

Have bought other kitchen towels from W&S before with much better drying power than these. After washing first time they lost their original rectangulary shape and became skewed. They do not dry dishes well.

Not absorbent

Like many others have noted...not square - so they don't fold neatly, has to be ironed, or else the edges curl up and again, can't fold well, not absorbent, which is its main job. Unfortunately, I can't return them. But, I won't be buying any more!

Not Worthy!

I own only Williams Sonoma kitchen towels so I was quite disappointed with the quality of these towels. They're uncontrollable unless ironed. The seams are off and the towel is not a square. I returned the first set thinking they were defective. When I received the second set, I was equally disappointed. Williams Sonoma should return to the previous vendors used and discontinue this towel set.

Towels are not the same quality as before

I have owned and used Williams Sonoma dish towels for years and have loved them.
I bought these just last week and they are horrible quality. They need to be ironed when removed from the dryer and are not absorbent. They are a much cheaper quality product than previous kitchen towels.

I already own the waffle weave towels and love them. When WS had a sale on linens, I purchased these towels. The color is vibrant and I like the weight of the towels, but that is it. When I washed the towels, they came out of the dryer all wrinkled and had to be ironed. Even worse, they were terribly misshapen-the towel with the Williams Sonoma name was the worst of all. Good luck folding them neatly! Don't buy these towels; buy the waffle weave ones instead.

The last time I purchased the Williams Sonoma Assorted Kitchen Towels as shown,(I bought 4 sets) was in 1982 and I am still using them. They just will not wear out! My daughter liked them so much, she purchased the dishcloths and used them as "mopines" for wiping her son's face when he was sitting in a highchair. She still has her sets. Quality is unsurpassed as is everything you buy from Wms.Sonoma. (I had ordered them from their catalog - no computer back them.) They still do a fantastic job re: catalogs.

poor poor quality

I got three sets of these as presents, and am bringing the three of them back. After washing the towels once or twice, they go completely out of square and already look ragged. Even after ironing they look bad. My 7 year old kitchen towels look newer than my "new" WS towels. Don't waste your money on these.

They Keep Going and Going and Going

I purchased a blue set of these towels a few years ago and have nothing but high praises for them. I wash mine in cold water, hang to dry and give them a good press. The colour hasn't faded nor have they gone out of shape. I don't know if it's because of the line dry and press - but I would recommend these towels to everybody. Am now looking to purchase a 2nd set (perhaps the Dijon) and am confident that they will last many years as well. Terry cloths are okay in a kitchen; but for me, only when it's time to wipe my wet hands. These towels will dry all of your dishes, etc. beautifully. Don't hesitate or sit on the fence - buy them - you'll be happy that you did so.

I usually buy the terry-type dish towels, but these got so many good reviews I had to try them. They were kind of expensive, but I am so glad I got them! They are everything everyone said and more. They are very thirsty, soft but sturdy at the same time. When my terry towels would be saturated, these are still going strong. And they are handsome too. They do comeout of the washer wrinkled the first few times, but after they get broken in, they fold up nice and flat. I always add a wee bit of fabric softner. Not too much, or you will find they may be soft, but they won't be absorbant. I can tell these are going to last a long time.

My new towels may not be exactly the same as the ones I've been buying for 10+ years, but I like them just as well. They are larger than most others & wash well. Last a long time! I wash them in warm or hot water. Like them so much that I sent 2 sets to my daughter-in-law. She is pleased too!
