My go-to cutting board in the kitchen
October 14, 2013
I got this cutting board from our wedding registry and was so pleased with it. It's a gorgeous piece of wood- so nice it can be on display but it's also very functional. It was my go-to cutting board until my husband put it in the dishwasher. Unfortunately it couldn't withstand the high heat and broke apart at the seams. However, I love it so much and used it so often, I'm buying another. The only con is that it has to be oiled frequently (but if you're not willing to do that, you shouldn't by any solid wood cutting board).
Pros: Quality, Easy to Store, Size, Shape, Weight
Cons: High-Maintenance

It's a good looking cutting board
January 26, 2013
This board does look good, has a good sized cutting surface and is not to heavy.
My only complaint is that there's a weird smell from the board and when I oiled the surfaces some of the stain (I assume its the stain?) could be seen on the paper towel I used to apply the mineral oil. I've washed this several times and I can still smell the stain. I'll wash this some more and hope the smell disappears. I'm disappointed because in all other aspects I like this cutting board and I thought it was ready to be used after the first wash. I hesitate to use this regularly at this point.
Pros: Easy to Store, Size, Shape
Cons: funny smell & stain seems be coming off
