Large, deep yellow Moorpark apricots (Prunus armeniaca) are wonderful for canning, drying or making jam. Or try baking them in tarts and crisps. Prized for their sweetness, full flavor and large size, the fruit is loaded with vitamin A and C and healthy antioxidants. The fast-growing tree is nicely sized for containers and garden beds. Zones 4-9. Suitable for container or ground planting. Grows 8'-10' high, 8'-10' wide. Requires full sun. Pink-tinged white blossoms. Fruits from July to late August. Yields approx. 3 bushels at maturity (3 to 4 years). Agricultural regulations prohibit shipment to AZ, CA, OR, WA, Puerto Rico and Hawaii.
