Soup never looked so elegant

The graceful lines of this soup tureen set off any table. The shade of white makes it look like it has been passed down through the ages. Even though it did not come with a porcelain ladle, the slot is ample enough to hold a large silver one. When not in use, it store it in a glass front cupboard, which shows it off nicely. I am very please with this purchase.

Disappointed

I find that too many of WS earthenware are not that great and are not worth the money. I'd purchased the tureen and other fall tableware for Thanksgiving: two of them broke by the time I got home; the other platter, the handle broke off. I was totally disappointed. I believe in WS quality; I was upset. Not only did I spend all that money, I did not even get a chance to use them not once.
I had a similar situation when I'd purchased the Easter plates. When They arrived, they were broken to pieces; naturally I was reimbursed. However the other plates that arrived ok, chipped so easily. I did not put them in the dishwasher.
While I will still purchase some things from WS, I will definitely stay away from anything that is earthenware. They are poor in quality.

it would be perfect if had a Ladle

I bought this tureen 2 months ago.it is really nice,but I wish it had Ladle and Coordinated with some White Dinnerware Collection.
