Antipasti Platter

Owner of two restaurants on California's Central Coast, chef Antonio Varia offers this ready-made collection for the perfect antipasti platter with no effort. Your feast will include juniper-kissed salami, an American farmstead cheese, an assortment of olives and crisp Sardinian crackers, all selected to complement each other and delight the palate. Lovely as a gift, this collection also makes for easy entertaining or a spontaneous picnic. Alle-Pia Cacciatorino Salami: Juniper berries and Italian Chianti wine give this salami its fresh flavor, with a distinctly lighter taste than other varieties. Formed into small pieces approximately 6 to 7 inches long, this salami was a portable snack that could be easily carried in a hunter's shoulder bag, thus the name, which translates as "hunter's salami." Pedrozo Dairy Northern Gold: A grassy, buttery, gouda-style cheese made with raw milk from the Holstein and Jersey cows that graze in California's Sacramento Valley. 8 oz. Olives: A mixture of meaty Castelvetrano, Taggiasco and white Gaeca olives, all cured for a short time for a flavor that's fresher and less briny than most olives. 10 oz. Giulio Bulloni Pane Carasatu: Traditional crisp Sardinian crackers, sometimes called Carta di Musica because they resemble the thin parchment paper used to compose music. 3.5 oz. 1 lb. 11.5 oz. total. Shipped fresh. Made in USA and Italy.

Nothing is like pictured
October 28, 2016
I received a package that contained items that didn't even come close to matching what is pictured. Worse, the cheese was hard with an 1/2 inch of hard old cheese with about another 1 inch of eatable cheese; if it had been packaged well AND if you can overlook all the mold. There were ice packs that were at room temperature--my packaged arrived on time. There was no salami, there was some type of unappealing looking dried sliced meat. The cheese, they had cut two pieces and wrapped them loosely in plastic wrap that had come from around the cheese. They included a small bottle of olive paste and crackers -- the ONLY thing that appears it may be okay, but I'm not interested in trying any of these items.
Cons: Amount, Disappointing, Texture, Unhealthy, unappealing

Dissapointing gift
January 18, 2015
A waste of money. No one liked it at all. For the cost it was not up to the standard that I have experienced at Williams Sonoma. I have purchased many food gifts over the years especially at Christmas time and I was disappointed to hear from multiple family members of the poor quality and taste of an item that I purchased from WS.
Cons: Disappointing, Texture, Flavor

This is a nice assortment.
The cheese is tasty for snacking, the salami was good, and the olives are outstanding.
I wish I could purchase those olives on their own, but can't find them anywhere.
They are beautiful to look at and delicious to eat with a nice, firm bite.
The crackers are interesting, but if I could change anything, it would be that to something with a bit more thickness to better hold product.
Pros: Quality, Good for Entertaining, Flavor

The combination of flavors was amazing. I'm usually not a big fan of olives, but I was a convert after a few bites. I'll definately purchase it again - would be great for a picnic lunch.

Excellent combination of antipasti. The cheese is outstanding and the salami is delicious . The olives are a very good complement to the cheese and salami - would definitely recommend this combination.
