All-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless-Steel Saucier

The sloping sides of this saucier make it ideal for reducing a sauce, sauteing vegetables or simmering risotto. A rounded bottom facilitates stirring and provides a broad surface for evaporating liquids quickly. The lid helps seal in moisture and heat. Three-ply construction sandwiches a heat-responsive aluminum core between an easy-clean stainless-steel interior and exterior; interior won't react with foods. Ensures fast, even heating. Riveted stainless-steel handle stays cool on the cooktop. Ideal for use on any cooktop, including induction. Handcrafted in USA.

This was my first piece of All-Clad. I have had it for 7 years and it is still my go to pot to heat soup, create sauces, cook vegetables, warm leftovers and make absolutely perfect rice. Cleans up with ease. It is a pot I can't live without! Worth every penny.
Pros: Easy to Use, Easy to Clean, Durable, Versatile, Design, Size

Not my favorite All-Clad
December 21, 2014
I've been a little spoiled by the D5 collection, but I really wanted a 3qt saucier, which unfortunately wasn't available in the D5 line.
This is a beautiful saucier - good shape and performance, but my big issue with it is the handle - super uncomfortable, especially when you have a full pot. It hurts my hand to lift. It would benefit from a helper handle as well - 3 quarts is a heavy load.
I'll keep it because I need a 3-quart saucier, but I really wish it was in the D5 or copper core line - I just can't get on board with this handle.
Good people of All-Clad, if you offer this with a better handle and/or helper handle I'll be the first in line to try it out!
Pros: Easy to Use, Quality, Easy to Clean, Size, Shape
