With a pouring lip on either side, this stainless-steel saucepan is perfect for preparing and serving melted butter, warming syrup, boiling a few eggs and heating soups and sauces. An essential add-on to any cookware collection, the butter warmer is from All Clad's original three-layer bonded Stainless Steel cookware line, now with a capacity engraving on each piece for quick identification and an improved ergonomic handle. Tri-ply construction sandwiches a heat-responsive aluminum core between an easy-care stainless-steel interior and exterior. Bonded-metal construction ensures fast, even heating. No more microwave butter explosions!

This petite pan fits on the inner, smaller ring of our ceramic cook-top perfectly and melts butter with ease (and no burning!). It's a substantial weight for its size and is easy enough to clean that even when in a hurry, I'll choose to use it rather than gamble on whether or not the butter will explode in the microwave. It's good for reheating small amounts of sauce, hot dips or heating maple syrup as well. The only drawback so far is that the pour spout dribbles a bit, but it's not too bad.

Use this often....so much neater than melting butter in the microwave. Great for heating small amounts of anything. Wonderful quality you expect from All Clad.

The small pot is great for warming small amounts of liquids. Pours well too. Covenient size as well.

Disappointed

I am quite disappointed with this item.
I purchased it because it had pour spouts, but they don't work. The butter dribbles down the side of the pot, creating the very mess that I thought would be eliminated with this item.

I probably use this butter warmer at least 5 days a week. I used to melt butter in the microwave, but cleaning the mess from splatters got old quick. So, I started using my 1 quart All Clad saucier to melt butter. It worked better than the microwave, but did not have pour spouts.
This little butter warmer is the perfect size and the pour spouts make all the difference. It's also great for warming maple syrup or even broths and heavy cream for recipes.

This is wonderful for more than just melting butter - I use it for warming maple syrup , jam and barbecue sauce . Also great for heating up a small amount of soup or leftovers. Very well made/ heavy.
