All-Clad Copper Core Saucier with Lid

Elite chefs depend on All-Clad's Copper Core cookware because of its superb responsiveness to heat. This saucier is the pan of choice for making reductions and sauces and cooking grains, with its high sloping sides and a rounded bottom for efficient stirring. Five-ply construction of securely bonded metals: a thick, heat-responsive copper core sandwiched between two layers of highly conductive aluminum with an easy-clean stainless-steel exterior and interior that won't react with foods. A "go to" pan
June 5, 2015
Am a real fan of AC Copper Core anyway.
This pan is so versatile, not just as a saucier.
I reach for it first when cooking/reheating. Great size for morning oatmeal/grits/cream of wheat. Quinoa does wonderfully in this pan, too. Have even made a small batch of deviled eggs using this pan...
And, of course, any All-Clad is legacy cookware (it will outlive you!).
Pros: Easy to Use, Durable, Versatile, Design, Quality, Size, Shape
Cons: visible copper lining needs polishing

Love this saucier!
February 16, 2015
I used this saucier for the first time today to reduce some balsamic vinegar. In the past (before I had this pan) I used to use a small saucepan (my one non-All Clad piece) Results with the small saucepan were quite variable and I had to watch it like a hawk.
I used this pan and what a dream. First of all, I never turned the gas up past 1/3 power and achieved a beautiful low simmer quite quickly. I reduced the level to 1/4 and the pot kept its low slow "simmer/boil." After watching it for five minutes or so, I felt comfortable leaving the room to do other chores, checking back every 4-5 minutes. Within 15-20 minutes, the volume was reduced by 60% with the viscosity I wanted. The pan was incredibly responsive to slight changes in my gas/power level. Cleanup was a breeze. I let it cool completely and then washed it with a sponge and soap.
I have been an All-Clad person for 30 years. Copper Core takes my cooking to a whole new level.
Can you tell I really love this pan?
Pros: Easy to Use, Quality, Easy to Clean, Size, Versatile, Shape, Design, Weight, short handle

Best Pot Ever for Single Cooks!
June 19, 2014
This was my very first piece of All-Clad Copper Core, and it is THE most-used pot in my arsenal. Not only is this pot extremly beautiful, but it's extremely practical! It is the perfect size for everything from pasta to soup to sauces. Aside from the perfect size, the copper really does seem to be worth the extra cost, because the pot is extremely responsive. Not only does water and other liquids boil quickly, but they go from boil to simmer extremly fast. I have not made a single "boil over" mess since I got this pot. That ALONE makes it worth the money in my opinion. I love it so much that I am seriously tempted to buy another one. If you can only buy ONE piece of All-Clad, this is the one to buy...but I doubt you'll be able to stop at just one.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Quality, Easy to Clean, Color, Easy to Store, Size, Versatile, Shape, Design, Weight, responsive
